The Land

DID YOU KNOW!!?

Around 1842, after WW2, Clyde Alexader bought 200 acres of land. Today, 32 acres of that land supports our zipline park.

In the early 90s, Warren Alexander broke the record for large mouth bass caught fishing. The bass was a good ten pounds (give or take) and was caught out of our own lake that now accompanies our surrounding ziplines. The record he broke was a 40+ years old!

If you're around at the right time you may be able to catch a glimpse of our neighboring albino deer!

Our beautiful fireplace located within the barn is carefully constructed of hand made bricks from around 1810. You can tell they were hand made not only by the time period but also the animal tracks that are embedded in some of the bricks from when they laid them out to dry. These bricks that make up our fireplace came from the first brick house built in Southern Indiana which was once located in Dexter, IN. If you look at the structure you can see the arches in the top of the fireplace as well as in the fire pit itself. These were reconstructed according to the original fire place that was built inside of the house.
